Herbal Power
Ginger improves digestion, prevents and manages stomach ulcers, protects against symptoms of colds and flu, and stimulates blood circulation. It has also been shown to be a very potent inhibitor of inflammatory compounds that contribute to arthritis and rheumatic conditions. Ginger also reduces blood cholesterol by improving liver function.
Basil does more than add flavor to food. This herb has some serious mind-body benefits.Basil is native to India and other tropical areas of Asia. The herb is well known for its use in Italian cuisine - it is a major ingredient in pesto sauce. The herb contains high quantities of (E)-beta-caryophyllene (BCP), which may be useful in treating arthritis and inflammatory bowel diseases. In addition to reducing the inflammation and swelling, it has excellent anti-aging properties and is rich in anti-oxidants.
Bishop's weed has been used in Ayurvedic medicine as an antiseptic, a spice, and a preservative, as well as for respiratory and GI ailments. It is used in the Unani system of medicine as an enhancer of the body's resistance.
Mint oil and mint tea have been used for thousands of years to sort out a variety of digestive and gastrointestinal conditions. The tea also stimulates bile flow to increase the rate and efficiency of digestion and promote healthy bowel movements.
Tea Prep Guide
Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over 1 teaspoon of tea.
Cover cup & steep for 5-10 minutes.
We encourage you to experiment with the quantity of tea and the length of the steep time to find your desired brew strength. Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.
