Kangra Hand-rolled Oolong Tea

This tea comes from the area where the finest teas in the world are grown-the Himalayan foothills. Kangra is situated in North West Indian State of Himachal Pradesh and is a mountain country, very much part of the Himalayas with beautiful landscapes. The beautiful range of Dhauladhar Mountain towers over the Kangra valley, wherein the foothills has India’s smallest tea region.

How to prepare a perfect cup of tea?

•          Take 1 teaspoon tea leaves. About 2 grams of leaves is ideal for Oolong tea preparation.
•          Pour freshly boiled water over the tea leaves.
•          Boil the water to 100 degrees Celsius or 212 degrees Fahrenheit. You can then let it cool down to up to 80-90 degrees or 175-195 degrees Fahrenheit.
•          Steep for 3 minutes depending on your taste.
•          Strain the leaves out & enjoy. 
•          Best consumed without milk.
