Great Night Time Tea

This tea has a wonderful taste. I add a little extra tea to get a bolder flavor. It has helped me to relax and get to sleep faster...which is more than I can say for other teas on the market. I have tried many, many teas; as I have terrible insomnia I strongly recommend this tea.

    Better Then Tazo version

I loving having a Chamomile tea blend before bed, I normally have Tazo "Calm" but this is so much better and even if you over steep it does not come out bitter like some teas. The body is smooth, taste is refreshing, and compared to Tazo it is a better bargain. It is not a strong tea. Overall it is a good bargain to buy.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      • HERBAL POWER

        Herbal Power

Licorice root contains many anti-depressant compounds and is an excellent alternative to St. John's Wort. As a herbal medicine it has an impressive list of well documented uses and is probably one of the most over-looked of all herbal wonders. It has an aspirin-like action and is helpful in relieving fevers and soothing pain such as headaches.

Ginger improves digestion, prevents and manages stomach ulcers, protects against symptoms of colds and flu, and stimulates blood circulation. It has also been shown to be a very potent inhibitor of inflammatory compounds that contribute to arthritis and rheumatic conditions. Ginger also reduces blood cholesterol by improving liver function.

Cinnamon can lower LDL cholesterol and has a regulatory effect on blood sugar, making it especially beneficial for people with Type 2 diabetes. Cinnamon is also known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties, making it effective in fighting yeast infections. It is also known for counteracting bad breath.

Coriander is used in the treatment of skin inflammation, high cholesterol levels, diarrhea, mouth ulcers, anemia, indigestion, menstrual disorders, smallpox, conjunctivitis, skin disorders, and blood sugar disorders, while also benefitting eye care.

Bishop's weed has been used in Ayurvedic medicine as an antiseptic, a spice, and a preservative, as well as for respiratory and GI ailments. It is used in the Unani system of medicine as an enhancer of the body's resistance.

Traditionally used as a spice and also as a healing herb, star anise appears to have medicinal properties that endow it with significant health benefits.

      • PREPARATION

        Tea Prep Guide

        •  Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over 1 teaspoon of tea

        • Cover cup & steep for 5-10 minutes.

        • Squeeze tea to ensure maximum goodness in your cup.

        • We encourage you to experiment with the quantity of tea and the length of the steep time to find your desired brew strength. Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.
